Deep Tissue Massage
Focused Massage Therapy for persistent tension, overworked muscles, and areas that feel restricted or uncomfortable.

Looking for More Focused Treatment?
If persistent tension, discomfort, or restricted movement is bringing you in, contact the clinic to find an appointment that works for you. Your therapist will discuss what you are experiencing and determine whether Deep Tissue Massage or a combination of techniques is appropriate for your treatment.
What is Deep Tissue Massage?
Deep Tissue Massage uses slower, focused techniques to work with deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue.
Treatment may begin with lighter Swedish Massage techniques to warm the area and help the therapist understand how the tissues respond. Pressure can then be increased gradually where appropriate.
Deep Tissue Massage is not a single pressure level, and it should not feel like something you simply have to tolerate. The amount of pressure used will depend on the treatment area, your goals, your health history, and your feedback.
Why clients choose Deep Tissue Massage
Clients may seek this approach for:
-
persistent muscle tension;
-
areas that feel tight or restricted;
-
discomfort associated with repetitive movement;
-
physically demanding work or activity;
-
reduced comfort during everyday movement; or
-
focused attention on a particular area.
Your therapist may combine deeper work with Swedish Massage, Trigger Point techniques, stretching, or other approaches.
What to expect
Your therapist will ask where you are experiencing tension, how it affects your movement, and what level of pressure you generally prefer.
Pressure will be introduced gradually and adjusted throughout the appointment. Some areas may respond better to slower or more moderate work rather than the deepest possible pressure.
Communication is part of the treatment. Tell your therapist when the pressure feels helpful, when it feels excessive, or when you would like a different approach.
